iGIANT, STAR HARBOR, and University of Oregon Announce Winner of Trainee Uniform Design Competition

iGIANT, STAR HARBOR, and the University of Oregon Sports Product Design MS program announce the winner of a challenge competition for college students to design terrestrial trainee uniforms that are eye-catching, high-functioning, and inclusive for all body types. Maxwell Prempeh, a 1st year MS University of Oregon student, designed the winning submission.

Existing flight suits and trainee uniforms do not adequately accommodate the entire gender and body spectrum. Students were asked to be inclusive of the full scope of physical shapes in their creations while also applying their creativity to improve the comfort, appearance, and functionality of future commercial trainee uniforms. Together, iGIANT, STAR HARBOR and the University of Oregon aim to improve inclusiveness and style within the aerospace sector through this student-centered project and challenge competition.
